I'm a fairly organized person. My pantry is straightened and organized by type of food, my refrigerator is always clean and like the pantry certain items are always in the same place. My closet is in order 80% of time, the DVDs are organized alphabetically I could go on but I know no one really cares. I have a rule, every thing has a place and every place has a thing, it's a simple rule that helps keep things in order here and it works for everything but my office.
It's so bad I lock the door when people are coming over so they don't go in, especially if they've never been to my house before, I would hate for them to take a wrong turn and discover my ugly secret!
I don't know what it is about my office. I just have the complete inability to keep it clean. I'll spend the better part of an afternoon in there and within a week it's back to looking like something you would see on Hoarders!
So, today, my 15th day of my 25 Days of Thankful! journey I am thankful that I have the entire day to spend in my office cleaning and organizing. Now lets just all say a prayer that I'll be able to keep it this way...at least until the first of the year!
This is just because I like to keep it real...

I am soooooo like you- except my office is right when you walk in the door with glass french doors- gotta keep it clean - boo!!

What is it about the office area that makes it so hard to keep it clean!? My office/craft room is always a mess!
Good luck cleanin' that rats' nest! LOL! Just kidding!!! We all have an area of MESS in our house. I have one too. Usually it's just ME though. I AM a hot mess.
Guuuurl....I'm pretty sure you will find something dead in there. Be careful. I wouldn't want you to hyperventilate while organizing. It just wouldn't be worth it. You have readers who love you. Please come out safely and let's not have this mess happen ever again.

I'm glad you found some time to get in there it has been bugging you for months. Our pig sty is the girls playroom. It is spic & span, then litterally 15 minutes later it is a war zone. I want to throw out all the toys, dress up clothes, books, ect... I threaten but I have yet to do it. Grrrr I am annoyed just thinking about it!
That looks familiar, but I subject my whole family to it. (Dining room table and kitchen counters. oops.)
