Happy Mother's Day

 I knew I was capable of great things the day I became a Mother! 

6,108 days ago God blessed me by me making me a Mom for the first time at the very young age of 24 {24 exactly, Honey and I share a birthday}.

August 17, 1994

                 

Babe and I were nothing less than thrilled to start this new chapter in our lives 

 4,155 days ago God sent me another blessing. I was now the Mommy to two girls!


December 21, 1999

 Our family was complete!

Honey had been asking for a baby sister since she was old enough to know what a sister was. She was in the delivery room with us and actually sat on the doctors knee as her baby sister entered this world.

A lot has changed over the last 16+ years {like my hair, thank you Jesus for sending me some fashion sense!} including my love for these two. I didn't think that the the love I felt for those girls the day I held them for the first time could get any greater, I was wrong!    

This is a conversation the girls and I have had more times than I can count.


Me- I love you.
Girls- I love you too.
M- I love you most.
G- No, I love you most.
M- Well, I loved you first.
G- No, I loved you first.
M- No, I loved you first but you can love me last!


I love being a Mom more than anything else. Thank you Honey and Peanut for being such wonderful daughters, you make proud to be your Mother! Always remember,  I love you more than yesterday but less than tomorrow!
